Why Use Case Studies?
Case studies are used to enhace critical thought and deepen knowledge of a topic or issue.  By utilizing case studies one can incorporate various other educational mechanisms such as WebQuests, inquiry activities, research links to parallel or contrasting sites, cooperative discourse, virtual lab activities, or hands on lab activities.  The choices are limited only by the creativity of the instructor or lesson development team.  So enjoy the case study activities herein and take your time with them...analyze, research, contemplate, discuss, and finally form a conclusion, or set of conclusions, that is not merely emotive...but supportable by evidence.  Good luck.
